This rainy season has really BEWILDERED the
whole world. India, US, Japan, China,
Indonesia, etc and most of the countries in the world have been worrying about
the way to handle the situation.
HERE IS A THOUGHT ABOUT
THE FORCE BEHIND THE RAIN. IT IS A BLEND BASED ON THE
EVER MYSTIFYING INDIAN VEDIC KNOWLEDGE AND SIMPLE LOGIC BASED ON THE SCIENTIFICALLY ACCEPTED
FACTS.
According to this, there will not be any
water scarcity for next 30 years. The rain pattern could be - 1.Heavy rain
frequently accompanied by storms and hurricanes every year till 2009. 2. Moderate rains from 2010 to 2014 with
comparatively lesser storms and hurricanes. 3.Heavy and moderate rains rain during 2015 to 2023. Thereafter from 2024 to 2043, the winter will
pre-dominate. Again 2044 to 2063 the summer will take over to heat up globally.
From 2064 the present cycle will repeat.
It may be
surprising and may look funny at the outset. However let us question about the
rain. 1. Does it rain always on an
average? 2. If no, when does it rain? 3.
Is there any time frame for the rain to pour?.
The answer is, No, it does not rain always. It rains only in rainy season. Usually it
rains in regular intervals between the month of June and September every year
in most parts of the world and it would continue till December in some places.
The southwest Monsoon in Indian subcontinent appears between June and
September. The South East Monsoon would
set in, between September and December. Most of the DEPRESSION associated
storms occur during this period alone all over the world. The notable point
here is that, the Sun during this period shines directly over the Southern
oceanic region of the earth. (i.e., from 21st June to 22nd December). This is
the fact and no surprise or nothing funny about it at all.
What makes the
rainy season? : The geometry of the planetary system, strongest being the Sun,
Moon, Jupiter and Saturn.
1.
Let us discuss the Sun and Moon
to begin with. The summer comes to the
peak by May-June because of a particular geometry of the Sun, Moon and the
Earth. It is a known fact that, 1) The temperature of the ocean rises at one end because of the direct release of
heat from the sun over the ocean. (Popularly known as el-nino phenomena).2).The
Moon gives the churning action over the
oceanic water revolving around the earth. 3). There will be fixed resultant
gravitational force acting over the earth and the oceanic regions during the
period. It rains for the next four months (June to September) and continues
with lesser vigor till December.
How does the
gravitational force of other celestial bodies affect the events on the earth?
1. The planetary gravitations can produce perturbations over other bodies. 2). These can produce tidal waves over the
oceanic waters. 3). Atmospheric gases will be effected and turbulent winds are
possible. 4) This can influence the semi-liquid mantle underneath the earth and
trigger earthquakes too.
The relative geometry of the Sun, Moon and the Earth will repeat
once in a year. Therefore we have divided the year into three seasons namely
Summer, Rainy and Winter. In other words, all the three seasons put together
forms a yearly cycle.
If the geometry of the Sun, Moon and the Earth can influence the
activities over the Earth, we can logically conclude that, the geometry of
other planets too will have an effect on the activities of the planet Earth.
Here especially the planets Jupiter and Saturn, who have a longer period of
zodiac cycle (Longer orbiting period or orbiting cycle around the Sun) will
have the geometries of longer cycles. We all know that Jupiter completes its
one cycle in 12 years and Saturn takes as much as 30 years to complete one
zodiac cycle. While we are discussing about the influence of other planets on
the earth, we can ignore the effects of Mercury and Venus, as their zodiac
cycle is too short, i.e., less than a year. Also these two are in the inner
orbit to the Earth and therefore relatively and effectively these two are the
part of the Sun itself as far as the effect over the Earth is concerned. The Mars is much smaller, even smaller than
the Earth and therefore the effect of this planet compared to those of Saturn
and Jupiter may be ignored.
There is another aspect to be considered, while we
discuss about the geometry of the planets with the earth. It is interesting to
note that, the geometry of all planets, especially Sun, Jupiter and Saturn
repeat approximately once in 60 years. The Indian Vedic system recognized this
fact, and represented the geometry with the zodiac charts long back.
The above facts
will induce us to arrive at three more seasonal cycles (which is much larger
than our annual seasonal cycle,) viz., 12 years of Jupiter cycle, 30 years of
Saturn Cycle and 60 years of combined cycles of all major planetary geometries.
Every 59th
year relative positions of Sun, Saturn, and Jupiter will repeat and remain so,
approximately for the whole yearly weather cycle. The relative geometrical
positions of Sun, Jupiter and Saturn on 17th August in the year 1769, 1828,
1887, 1946, 2005, and 2064 are shown below for reference. This clearly
establishes the 60 yr cycle of repetition.
However the Mars is out of this repetition cycle of 60 years.
Accordingly ancient Indian Vedic system has named the geometries of
each yearly cycles as SAMVATHSARA starting from PRABHAVA ……… TO KSHAYA. There
are 60 names for 60 different geometries and thereafter the cycle repeats. In this 60year cycle first 20 years are
summer (Corresponding to the month Feb-May), second 20 years are rainy
(Corresponding to June - Sept), and last 20 years are winter (Corresponds to
October to Jan). For easy understanding, it is similar to how we divide our 12
months (Jan – Dec) in to 3 seasons. At the end of the winter years the water
sources in the earth will deplete, and at KSHAYA Samvathsara there will be acute shortage of water with
the onset of summer at every cycle.
Obviously 20 years back (During 1965 and 1985) we have been
experiencing comparatively lower temperatures in all the seasons. Since last 20
years (Approx) we see a gradual rise in temperatures globally. That was the
summer under the 20 yrs cycle. Now we have entered the rainy season on 60 yrs
cycle. In addition to the gravity of sun and moon the gravity of Jupiter and
Saturn are also acting more up on the southern watery region of the earth (Ref
the figure below). This geometry can produce more disturbances over the oceanic
water and the atmospheric gases over the ocean. Even this can affect the
semi-liquid mantle in interior portion of the earth as the solid crust over the
oceanic region is thinner. (maybe this will explain the underwater earthquakes
and tsunamis). Recent studies of various
institutions (Department of Disaster Management, Department Earth science,
Central mining Research Institute etc in India) have found that the tsunami
cycle is 50 years. Times of India dated 4th Nov 2005 reported this.
Let us look back and see the overall situations of the past
years. 1) Incidentally we have
been hearing about the GLOBAL HEATING for last 20 years and not before that.
This is the summer of 60 yrs’ cycle). 2). Comparatively since last year the
rain has suddenly shown improvements. 3). This year it is 19th
Samvathsara called PARTHIVA. This corresponds to May end of one year cycle.
Everywhere in the world it is said that, this year comparative rain
record goes back to 40-60 years. In
Bangalore the newspapers have reported that the Sangameshwara temple had fully
submerged after 60 years. If we ask aged people they narrate about the rain
havoc during the last cycle i.e between last 40 to 60 yrs back. My grandfather
said that there was a severe draught in last KSHAYA Samvathsara ( 80 years
back). This type of draught and heavy rain is not a new phenomena. Even
Upanishads and Puranas mention about 12 years continuous draught. As per
ancient Indian history Lord “SRI KRISHNA’S
birth was in PARTHIVA Samvathsara (The present one). The story says about very
heavy rains, the day he took birth and about the overflowing Yamuna river.
Again when he was young boy of about 5 to7 yrs, the story of “Govardhana giri”
said about the “MUSALADHARAA RAIN” (Very thick streams of water drops from the
cloud) for seven days without break. If at all this is true, be ready to face
the coming seasons for the next 20 years of heavy, sufficient and moderate
rains, of which next four years being very severe.
Even the
earthquakes have increased as the planetary geometry causes the churning of the
molten mantle inside the earth. Present quake and Tsunamis records too show the
repetitions of past quakes in the intervals of 40 to 60 years.
The question arises when the ancient Indian astronomers made 60
Samvatsaras have they said any thing about the rains. Interestingly YES, in a Vedic chant called
“MANTRA PUSHPAM” there are hidden meanings mentioning about the quintessence of
water. For making it simpler, only this portion of the MANTRA is mentioned
here, although the chant has much vaster and many more meanings. Following are
the causes (Aadhaara, Aayathanam) ಆಯತನಂ (आयतनम) of water in the earth and
elsewhere in the universe 1. Agnirvaa
apaam aayathanam – Fire i.e., the heat is the cause of water (Rain) 2. Vayurvaa
aapaam ayathanam – The air and associated winds etc. 3. Asau vai thapannapaam
aayathanam - The shining Sun who heats
up the earth. 4. Chandramaa vaa
apaamaayathanam – The Moon. 5.
Nakshatraani vaa apaam aayathanam – The stars (This covers all the planets too,
as they appear to move covering 27 groups of stars) namely Ashwini, Bharani..
etc. 6. Parjanyoo vaa apaam aayathanam – The rain itself causes more rain (Rain
at one portion of the cloud causes the temperature drop and thereby the whole
heap of cloud to pour down. 7. Samvathsaroo vaa apaam aayathanam – above
said planetary geometries, THE
SAMVATHSARAS. (This is very important
player in producing the larger weather cycles). Probably there are no other EXTERNAL causes effecting the weather (Rain). The pollution
and forestation etc are the local
causes.
This 60 year cycle is particularly applicable for Indian
subcontinent. In case of American subcontinent the oceanic area extends up to
northern hemisphere of the Earth from both eastern and western sides. Therefore
the rains hurricanes etc may occur in this region at other geometries too.
STILL the possibilities are more in co-ordination with the above cycles, as the
whole oceanic area is exposed to, ONE SIDED GRAVITY DURING THE PERIOD. Also
(Refer the figure below), there is totally blank and not a single planet at the
northern region of the earth (at quadrant 1 and 4), to counter the extra
gravitational pull acting over the oceanic watery surface at southern portion
of the earth. Naturally the ocean should be more active comparatively during
the period, when both the Saturn and Jupiter are at 2nd and 3rd
quadrant. Recent news
reports said about the hurricane behavior at USA (Florida etc), is 20 year
cycle. However as per this estimate, it
may be 29 to 30 years. Because for
every 29/30 year both Saturn and Jupiter will keep on
moving directly southern hemisphere.
OTHER CYCLES :
As per PURANAS and VEDAS the earth would be totally covered under
water for hundreds of thousands of years continuously with ending of each MANVANTHARA - counting 294 millions of years. Thereafter
earth becomes fit to carry the life only after millions of years. After 14 such cycles, for an equal length of
time earth will not have any living activities. This counts to 8.4 billion
years(Appx) and thereafter the whole planetary system with the Sun will die.
The present cycle is 7th, named as Vyvaswatha MANVANTARA. In this
Manvantara by now 120 million years are
over, and 174 millions of yrs to go, for the “Jalapralaya”. Also the Puranas
say that, it rained continuously for 12,000 years before any life existed over
the earth after its birth. The same has been said by the modern day scientists
about the rain at the initial stages of earths’ evolution!
Modern astronomy found that the Sun with all its planetary family,
is orbiting about the centre of its milky way galaxy at a speed of 275 km/sec
and it will take about 225 million years to complete one rotational cycle. And it is believed that, there is a massive
black hole at the centre of our galaxy. Newspaper THE TIMES OF INDIA
Bangalore,dated 4th Nov, 2005 in page No. 11 carried a news bit
referring to a BLACK HOLE AT STRIKING
DISTANCE. Certainly when the sun moves near the black hole it will severely
affect the activities over the earth. As the orbiter path is eccentric and not
a perfect circle, the Sun is supposed to move near the black hole at the other
end of the orbit. Incidentally this has an excellent match with above said
MANVANTARA, 294 millions years. This figure is only the life cycle over the
earth and includes the time length of
‘PRALAYA’. It may be assumed
that, the earth will not be in position to carry the life for about 50 million
years (About 1/5th of the orbit), when the Sun with the earth is at
the closer side of the elliptical orbit around the black hole. See, how nicely the nature HAS planned
events. During this period all the beings including the forest remains and the
life over the earth will be crushed under the crust of the earth and be cooked
to produce minerals, crude and fuel for the next generations of the next cycle
!. Indeed it is wonderful, and the intelligence in its’ original form, must be
that absolute cause of creation to perform this art. (THE GOD FOR THE
BELIEVERS).
Again the Milky Way revolves around the local group of Galaxies
(LGOG) towards the constellation Hercules. Further LGOG around Virgo super
cluster galaxy (VSCG.) And this VSCG
around the Universe.
Here we can conclude that, there may be many possible causes
affecting the weather in the earth over the length of time.
The position of Sun, Jupiter,
and Saturn in the gap of 59 th yr since 1769 on wards up to 2064, is given
below, Zodiac-vice on 17 th August of each year.
Note: The Rainy season begins in June and continues up to September
and with lesser intensity up to December.
Position of Sun in Zodiac during this period will be Gemini (Mithuna) to
Sagittarius (Dhunu). THE LOGIC is that, the rain will hit with fullest strength
when Jupiter and Saturn join the Sun in the same direction to produce high
gravity at the oceanic region at quadrant 2 an 3 (Ref the fig).
The CONVERSE is true when Saturn and Jupiter are in the opposite
side and produce less rain and more heat, That is to say when Saturn and
Jupiter are in the region at Zodiac sign Makara to Vrushabha. (Quadrant 1 and
4) producing the counter gravity against that of the Sun over the watery
oceanic southern region, making the oceanic water little calm comparatively.
THIS IS ON 17th

2064 LEO(SIMHA) VIRGO(KANYA) CANCER(KARKA)
Note : The
samvathsaras are 60, and the cycles
completes on 59 th year+
Note : The
Jupiter during 1828 and 1887 is as good as in the zodiac Virgo as it falls only
a few degrees ahead of the other three
combinations. Still it is very well in the Quadrant 2 and 3 in the figure shown below.
The rain and
thunderstorms are more between June and September. However it continues up to December
sometimes. It may be observed that the
rainy season is predominant when the Sun appears under the zodiac signs beginning of
Gemini and the end of Leo (At quadrant – 2), or when the earth passes
over the zodiacs beginning from Sagittarius and the end of Aquarius (The
Quadrant-4).
It is a credible point to note that, the
Jupiter and Saturn align the Sun at quadrant 2 and 3 at the regular cyclic
intervals of 60 years, and may cause the increase of rain due to additional
gravity, in the absence of any matching counter gravitational force at the
opposite quadrants 1 and 4. This geometry of planets will produce more
turbulence over the oceanic region, both on water and atmosphere. Although the Saturn passes over the quadrants
2 and 3 for every 29.5 years, Jupiter is not favorable in this cycle. Therefore
the cycle of rain should logically repeat for every 60 years (Approximately).
ABOUT ANCIENT INDIAN ASTRONOMY:
The ancient Indians have been showing the
planetary charts as follows. Two model charts showing the Sun, Jupiter, and
Saturn, at 60 years repeating cycle are shown here below. This type of chart is
very scientifically formed, by naming the orbiter paths as own houses of the
respective planets, at opposite signs of either ends of signs allotted to Sun
and Moon. The Sun is allotted the Sign Leo and the Moon Cancer. Location of the
planets is made with respect to the position of the Sun. And the same is
identified from the planet Earth. Therefore the Sun and Moon are allotted only
one sign each. Now the innermost orbit
is that of Mercury. The own signs allotted to Mercury are Gemini and Virgo.
Next Orbit the Venus is allotted Taurus and Libra. Next orbit after the earth
is that of Mars, and the signs allotted are Aries and Scorpio. Next orbit the Jupiter. The signs are Pisces
and Sagittarius. The outer most known planet those days was the Saturn. The
Signs allotted are Aquarius and Capricorn.
The Indian astronomy added two more planets
called The Rahu and Kethu. Most people didn’t understand this concept. They
were rightly called as CHAYA GRAHAS. That means the shadow planets. These two
are nothing but the points of intersections of the paths of the shadows of the
Moon and the Earth at either sides of the earth. These paths have about 5 degree angular deflection and therefore
they intersect. These are mainly taken into consideration to enable the
calculations of the Lunar and Solar eclipses. If these paths were not
intersecting, the Solar and Lunar eclipses would not have occurred, and the
Rahu and Kethu would not have been existing at all !. Even today the traditional
PANCHANGAS do calculate the time of both Lunar and Solar eclipses very
precisely to the accuracy of seconds. In Sanskrit language the units of time
are in Galige and Vigalige, 1 hr = 2.5 Galige. And 1 Galige = 60 Vigalige. One
of the oldest Indian traditional theories called DRIK-SIDDANTHA enables,
the accurate calculations of eclipses. It may be astonishing to the
generation X that, these pre-historic calculations of pure Indian origin, even
considered the wobbling of the planet earth about the bottom southern tip, of
the North-South axis of our planet earth. This wobbling takes 27,000 years to
complete one cycle. This system of calculations adapted corrections to the
equinox, to advance by a day for every
75 years duration. Now let us calculate the cycle of one rotation for 365 days.
That comes to 75 x 665 = 27,000. !. An excellent agreement.
It is really surprising and unfortunate
that, the teaching of INDIAN TRADITIONAL ASTRONOMY to the generation X in
India is denied by the section of Indian
public itself. At Ramayana and
Mahabharata time itself (More than 5,000 yrs back) the horoscopes of Rama,
Krishna, and Pandavas were made precisely and correctly locating the Sun and
all 6 planets and Rahu and Kethu within 12 Zodiac signs. That means the
calculations of planetary motions were in practice in India right from those
days However there are some, who say
these are later additions. Still this knowledge is pre-historic it seems. Mahabharata mentions about the Solar and
Lunar eclipses within a gap if 13 days. Even it is said, there itself that, it
is a rare phenomena, which is now known to the modern world. Again, it is very
clearly said in all puranas and Mahabharata that, Krishna’s birth star is
Rohini, and the ‘thiTh’i is ‘AshTami’. These indicate that, there was
full fledged knowledge of movements of
planets, and those were in practice those days. These are not later additions
and appear in original ancient texts.
Is it worth studying in our own country
that, the modern astronomy began in foreign countries like Greece or
elsewhere?. If we are unable to present the truth within our own country, what can we do at the outside world at large.
Ancient Indians were showing the planetary
charts as follows. A model chart showing the Sun, Jupiter and Saturn as
repeating at 60 years is indicated below

Ancient astronomy approximately said the
orbiter period of Saturn as 30 years,
against modern findings 29.42 years.
Jupiter’s
Orbiter period is considered as 12 years, against the modern findings of 11.86 years.
The Tidal Force over the oceanic water, due
to external object, is directly proportional to the mass of the external
object, mass of oceanic water exposed to
gravity over the earth, and depth of the ocean,
also inversely proportional to the cube of it’s distance to the earth.
(The difference in gravity at top and
bottom of the oceanic water produces the tide).
Tidal force of sun is approximately half,
compared to that of the moon over the earth. (Although the Sun is massive, the
distance is huge compared to that of the moon to the earth)
The tidal force due to Jupiter and Saturn may be very small
compared to that of the moon.
But,
when, all of them happen to
be at the same frequency and from the
same direction, without any opposing
force at opposite direction the disturbance over the ocean may be considerably
more.

There
would be heavy rains and storm too, during 2018 season. Rain may start by May
2018 itself and continue for full season. What is the reason ? - Both planets
JUPITOR AND SATURAN touch nearest point to earth on their regular orbit. This
is not astrological prediction. BUT during the period the gravitational pull
over the South SEA would be more than the normal which causes high tide and
more churning of ocean water. There will be more EARTH QUAKES TOO comparatively,
because the semisolid mantle below the earth also Churned with more vigour.
