SELF MANAGEMENT - Bhagavad Geeta - Quality of Action and Fruit of Action

कर्मणि एव अधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन --
------मा ते सन्गोस्त्वकर्मणि || 2-47 ||

One has the right to act alone - But no right over the fruit of action. BUT THIS SHOULD NOT BE the reason for " INACTION/NOT TO ACT "
Neither it prohibits one from enjoying the fruit action at all !!!!
सर्वेषु कार्येषु मनोध्विघ्नता कर्मा फलाभीलाशानुपाति --The height of tension while performing any action is proportional to the depth of desire towards the FRUIT OF ACTION.
 1. The excessive desire over the fruit of action will spoil the concentration of the mind over the duty to be performed to achieve this very fruit itself
 2. It will spoil the quality of ACTION as the portion of "MIND ENERGY" is spent over the longing of the mind for the fruit action even before it is produced.

A forceful example for this is -- Many great CRICKETERS - GETTING OUT AT 95--- 99 etc. This is because of their mind more attached to the century -- THE FRUIT OF THIS FINAL ACTION --!!

HOW TO HANDLE THE “FRUIT OF ACTION” - WHICH FORCIBLY PULLS THE MIND - WHILE IN ACTION?

योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि सन्गम् त्यक्त्वा धनंजय |सिध्यसिध्योः समो भूत्वा समत्वम् योग उच्यते  || 2-48 ||

Establish the "Self" in "Yoga" and act, detaching the mind from the "Fruit of action" -- Be balanced with loss or gain - Thus achieving the “EQUANIMITY " is called "YOGA" ||The meaning is self explanatory -- This may look difficult BUT not impossible !!! -- It is possible with long practice.
